ABOUT J3 TOOLS

Established in 2020, J3 Tools are a specialist in supplying engineering components, consumables and related services. Created to serve the local engineering industry by three brothers - John, James and Jack McGilligan - J3 Tools aim to allow customers to maintain efficant operations in a quality professional approach.

J3 strive to provide a quality service to all our customers. Our staff undergo regular training in order to be able to compete at the highest level. J3 Tools are great believers in the famous quote by Sam Walton - ''The goal of the company is to have a customer service that is not just the best, but legendary'', based off of this quote J3 aim to provide all customers with a legendary service.

MEET THE TEAM

  • Jack McGilligan (Managing Director)

    Jack has been with J3 since it's inception in 2020. He is managing director and oversees the day to day running of the business. You may see Jack out on the road visiting customers or behind the desk in our store. Jack's hand on approach and leadership style has been instrumental in growing J3 into the business it is today. He is also an acomplished Gaelic Footballer but needs to perfect his golf game.

  • Oisséne O'Hagan (Branch Manager)

    Oisséne has been with the company since 2021. Oisenne is in charge of the day to day running of the shop. He is a huge asset to the company with his in depth product knowledge and excellent customer skills. In his 5 years with J3, he has overseen the transition between the old store to the new site on the Glen Road, Maghera. In his spare time Oisenne is an avid Gaelic Footballer and Hurler.

  • Paul Miliken (Store Manager)

    Paul joined J3 in late 2025 as part of a wider company expansion. He is an expert in logistics and brings with him a wealth of knowledge from the tooling and engineering industries from previous roles. His hands on approach has helped make the transition from the old site to the new shop a seamless one. In his spare time, Paul is an excellent soccer player and huge Manchester United fan.

  • Glenn Nicholl (Head of Accounts)

    Glenn is the company accountant and the steady hand behind the numbers. Bringing with him over 20 years of book keeping experience across a wide range of industries, he has built a reputation for precision, reliability, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Whether it’s balancing the books, managing finances, or spotting the details others miss. Outside of work, Glenn is a devoted family man and Tottenham Hotspur fan. Sadly, nobody’s perfect.

  • Conal Hunter (E-Commerce & Marketing Manager)

    Conal has 10 years experience in e-commerce, graphic design and web development. He joined the J3 in January 2026 as part of a wider expansion, with the aim of helping digitalise the company. In his short time at J3, his proudest achievement is the development of this new e-commerce site (www.j3tools.com). In his spare time Conal manages a senior soccer team and is a dedicated family man.
